Do I have to get the pin pictured in my reward tier?
No! Let’s say you select the 3 pin reward tier. The image shows “shelf control”, “same trope”, and “who did this” pins, and specific stickers. You are NOT limited to these pins, stickers, or that patch. You can select your choices from ANY of the unlocked designs in the survey that will be sent out after the campaign.

If I'm in the "Literally Everything" Tier, can I get multiples of some pins?
In the post-campaign backerkit survey, you’ll be taken through questions to select which 10 pins you want. You can select, for example, three “shelf control” pins, two “who did this”, and five “Bewitched Me” pins if you want, as long as your total is 10 from THIS CAMPAIGN. You can’t mix and match between this and the previous campaign: reward tier items are from this campaign only. The others can be purchased as additional add-ons. The same applies to magnets, patches, and keychains. However, since there are so many sticker options and I don’t want your survey to take an hour to complete, you’ll only be asked what sticker PACKS you want, not asked to select individuals. So you could select two “Sticker Set 1” if you only want the favorites instead of one of each set. If you want duplicates of an individual sticker, you can purchase them as additional extras.

I backed a previous campaign. Am I special?
Heck yes you are! Not to be dramatic, but… I burn for you. I am thanking all of my previous backers with ONE FREE PIN! In the post-campaign survey in backerkit, you will see an extra $11 credit on your profile so that you can add-on an extra pin. SO if you select, for example, the 5-Pin Tier as your reward level, when all is said and done you’ll end up with 6 pins. (And if you’d rather use that $11 credit on something besides a pin in the backerkit, be my guest!) Please use your same kickstarter account and email address when backing this campaign so I can match you to my list. The one caveat to get this free pin is that you must pledge for AT LEAST 1 PIN in this current campaign. This helps me keep shipping costs and profiles in order.

Is there an extra shipping charge for add-ons?
I am not including add-ons here on kickstarter because of shipping costs, but it will be an option in the backerkit. If you only want to get charged once, you can add on the correct additional funds to your pledge before the campaign ends, and that money will be available to you in the backerkit survey.
If you backed a reward for at least one pin, there is no additional cost to ship stretch goal add-ons or extra pins. However, if you pledged the sticker-only rewards (and therefore only paid for the cheaper sticker-only shipping), all non-sticker add-ons will require an additional $4 to ship to the U.S. or $17 to ship internationally. This will be reflected in the post-campaign survey, but I want you be forewarned now since kickstarter doesn’t make these calculations automatically with add-ons.

Can I get items from your previous campaign shipped with my reward items from this campaign?
Yes! In the backerkit survey after the campaign, all previous campaign pins will be available as add-on items for $11 each. If you want to streamline your payments, you can add $11 on to your campaign pledge now in your pledge manager so you’ll have the extra credit already when you’re filling out your reward survey. The same goes with magnets ($3), keychains ($10), patches ($5), and stickers ($3).

I can't wait till July - I need a bookish accessory IMMEDIATELY!
I happen to have a shop (polliadesign.com). There you can get items from my previous campaign AND booky designs on shirts, mugs, and prints! These are printed to order, so I don’t have to raise funds to stock them like with hard enamel pins, and you can buy them right now (though, not for the kind of discounts available on kickstarter!). They’ll get to you in 1-2 weeks.

Why is international shipping so expensive?
Sorry, folx. I wish there was a solution but it really costs $17 or more to ship internationally. I recommend you team up with a neighbor or two and go in on a pledge together so that you can split the shipping cost and save some money! If you really want the designs but can’t face that shipping cost, consider backing stickers only. These can fit in a letter envelope, so shipping is a lot cheaper.

I like backing cards to display my pins! Can I have some pretty paper?
I got you: Bookmarks! (But sshhh, we’re sort of spoiling a mid-campaign surprise.) I like to gift-package bookish pins stabbed into a bookmark as their backing cards, that way the pretty paper is functional afterward! But for this campaign, I’m not going to do the stabbing, so for the vast majority of people who don’t want their bookmarks pre-stabbed, they’re… you know, not punctured. But if you want to use your bookmarks as backing cards, you’ll have them to stab to your heart’s content. If you want extra bookmarks for stabbing, you can add them in the backerkit for pennies. Your pins will ship in their own little plastic baggies so they have some protection from scratches in transit. This is how they ship from the factory.

If you’ve never read a romance before, my favorite book to suggest to brand new romance readers is “The Duchess Deal” by Tessa Dare. It’s historical, beauty and the beast vibes, with fun banter and medium spice!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
